Welcome to my hint messenger! I will tell you some hints. First,always use cover,behind pillars,boxes, or even allies! After your vehicle(s) get destroyed use 'em as cover. Tip # 2: always use ammo wisely, if you run out of ammo for your SMG or Needler,switch with an ally! Tip # 3: this is for co-op mode. always find ways to kill the enemy, like, 1 player could distract the enemy and the other player could shoot them from their blind spots. Last tip: always find a vehicle if needed for a battle!!! if your Warthog gets blown to pieces, try to hijack a ghost and remember to say "please".........nah, just shoot em in the head and throw em off the vehicle! Dual wielding recommendations

When dual wielding, it is best to think about things before you just grab a needler and a plasma pistol, and have a pistol as your third weapon. You should make it so you have a good backup weapon; when dual wielding, ammunition can go quite quickly. Have two plasma rifles (or your choice) and have something like a particle beam rifle, shotgun, Covenant carbine, or perhaps a rocket launcher so that you have something to fall back on. Some suggestions are as follows:

Needler x2
Plasma rifles x2
SMG x2
SMG and a plasma rifle
SMG and a plasma pistol
Note: Having two plasma pistols is not a good choice because you cannot hold the two triggers down, or you will power them up. You must keep pulling, making this somewhat difficult. When wielding two weapons at once, use only one at a time, and when that runs out of ammunition, use the other one while reloading. Do this to keep up a steady stream of fire.

Dual needlers is probably the most underestimated weapon pairings available in the game, and probably the most powerful as well. Needlers have an incredibly fast rate of fire, are heat seeking, do initial damage then explosive damage, and you can pick up usually 80 to 160 ammo after each bout of gun fighting (in campaign mode). The only bad thing about needlers is the fact that they ricochet off shields and some body armors (for example, Hunters and the Elite Guard). They are not recommended for fighting shield wielding enemies, Hunters, Elite Guard, or Infected Flood (as they are extremely quick and will most likely do damage to you before the needler shots explode in them). In multi-player mode with friends, there should be nothing more feared then dual needlers.

A great dual wielding combo are two plasma pistols. Early in the game, two blue ones will do. Later in the game when you begin to fight the Brutes, after they die take their red plasma pistols. The red ones are slightly more powerful and overheat a little bit faster. A red and blue plasma pistol is recommended, as they compliment each other very well. If you have fast trigger fingers, any enemy will die. Even Brutes will die within around five seconds. Be careful; watch your heat and ammo meters. The plasma pistols are very good because they are powerful, and get rid of energy shields very quickly.

Ok so there are a lot of Combo's Out there that work Great, some are called Noob Combo's AKA The Plasma Pistol and a Battle Rifle. they have all sorts of other things aswell, However it doesnt matter what weapon/s you have if you dont hit your enemy in a vital spot you might aswell grenade yourself. so head shots are important!!! if you hit an enemy in the head with any weapon you will kill them in short order.

Famine Skull

After you get off of the slowly decending elevator in "The Oracle", you will come to a hallway where you see a handful of dead bodies. Continue into the next room, and you will be on the second floor of a room that has windows. When you enter this room, look to the right, and find the third pane of glass. It should be to the right of a wall that has some flood guts splattered on it. Shoot out this window, and either window directly across the room. If you look below you will see a platform that has four tall posts. On the far side of the room there is a column that is right in between the two windows, on the far side of the room. Turn on your active camo, and jump to the center platform. Jump on either of the posts on the far side of the platform and jump to the column between the windows. Make another jump through the window you shot out and make a left. Walk all the way to the end and you'll find four flood elites convulsing on the floor, with the Famine skull in the middle of them. When you have this skull all weapons will have less ammo.

Envy Mode

On the level "Delta Halo" on Legendary Difficulty, Progress until you reach the area during the "Push through the covenant held ruins" where you have to clear a Landing Zone for the Pelican to drop weapons. You will know you are in the right area when cortana says "they're pouring out of the center building". Anyway that area has Plasma turrets along its borders. A little bit after the left side turret you will see the outline of a door in a wall, but the door has a solid rock slab in it and a rock in front of it. Jump on the rock then jump to the ledge above the door then jump on the ledge to the left. Now jump onto the building with the sealed door using grenades. Atop the building you will find two dancing elites and the "Envy Skull". Pick up the envy skull and you will be able to use Active Camoflage like the Arbiter.

Sign on Zanzibar

On the beach on Zanzibar, you will see signs that say NO SWIMMING. Well, go to your xbox dashboard, go to the Settings, Clock, and change every number you can to 7 , then pop Halo 2 back into your xbox and load it up. WARNING: Do not sign into XBoxLive, it resets your clock. Now go to Split-Screen and start a game on Zanzibar. Go to the beach and look at the sign, it will mention something is missing, and there is a bloody dog's head

Sputnick mode

At the start of "Quarantine Zone" on Legendary difficulty turn directly around, and you should see a tunnel. Head down the tunnel and go straight until you exit it. Go straight across the open area, and you'll come across a broken pipe tunnel on your right. Straight in front of you is a small ledge running across the wall, above the green pit. Carefully get onto that small ledge and walk all the way to the end of the ledge to find the Sputnik skull. In this mode explosion force and melee force is greater.

Reload whenever you can

One thing that I can't stress enough is reload whenever you can. Make it a habit whenever you kill someone always press x to reload, because if you reload during a fire fight you are screwed. Also look at your radar every once in a while it's amazing how many people don't even turn around when you're right on their tail.

One thing that I can't stress enough is reload whenever you can. Make it a habit whenever you kill someone always press x to reload, because if you reload during a fire fight you are screwed. Battle the flood

When fighting the flood, always keep a lookout and keep your gun loaded. There are a lot of surprises with the flood. Also avoid being close to the exploding type of flood since it could kill you like a granade.

The following weapons are ones that I find effective against the flood:
Shotgun (the best)
SMG
pistol (duel wield w/ SMG)
Plasma Sword (also the best)
Brute Gun (not always but the bayonnet is good)

ok on any level you are on (it can be any level) grab a sniper rifle after youve done that if you look AT the scope and not THROUGH the scope you will see the surroundings of where your gun is aiming. now look straight down so that you can see the cheifs leg. the wierd part about this is that you can see everyone and everything else on Halo 2 by looking AT the scope accept the cheifs leg. (i have only done this while playing online. im guessing it is the same in single player too.)

Unlimited ammo

On any level where you are Master Chief, take out a battle rifle or shotgun on the foot until you die. Next (after you respawn), dual- wield 2 SMGs (Sub- Machine Guns) and shoot yourself in the foot until you die. Now you should have unlimited ammo.

Make sure you have a Battle Rifle and a secondary weapon (does not matter what kind of secondary, as long as you have one). Keep the Battle Rifle out and make sure it has a full clip. All you have to do is simply press the "R" trigger twice and then press "X". If you want to do it continuesly, press "R" twice, "X", and then "Y" twice. If done correctly, you will shoot twice the ammo you normally do and then swich from Battle Rifle to Secondary and vice versa. I suggest you practice this, for this can be usfull when you need to out BR an opponent.

Double Shot

The Double is a glitch were can shoot two times in a row with a Battle Rifle(BR).To do this glitch you get your Br and press RRX real fast.To do this glitch twice in a row or multipule times is by pressing RRX,YY,RRX and that will shoot it twice and to to do it mutliple times press RRX,YY,RRX,YY,RRX and so on.

ok first u will need to get an over sheild and a rocket launcher. all u got to do is stand backwords from where u want to jump to then u got to time it right jump and shoot the ground when u r jump about at the peak of ur jump. if u did it corectly u will fly up and backwords lol its really helpful to do to get to places where ur not soposed to be at lol.......Now for the garande jump trick get an over sheild and this one is all about timing ok throw a garnade at the ground about 3 feet from u( i would use the stickys just so they dont roll away) then run and jump over it and the explosion will send u flying(about 3 seconds til it blows up)

in halo 2, there are a few things you should always do if you want to be successful. One, always have your guns reloaded. If your ever caught with an empty clip in the middle of a fight, your as good as dead. Two, while duel wielding, choose carefully whether you want to unload both guns at once or conserve one and use the other. Let's say your opponent has a rocket launcher. you should probably use both to take them out as quickly as possible before they can shoot and kill you in one shot. If your opponent has a battle rifle, you should probably use one at a time to make sure they can't zoom and get a head shot more easily

in the second level of campaign mode, when you walk through the entry to where the grunts are in the hallway. if you look up when you first walk into the hall. it should have no cieling and on both sides there is a light. jump onto one of the lights. there is part of the cieling that is slanted and dark gray. look all the way up while facing toward that area of the cieling and start hiting jump, you should make it up. as your walking towards the court yard, look to your left. there is a hallway. walk down it. there should be a skull and some frag grenades. pickup the skull by holding x. there will be a flash of light and you will be invisible. thats all i got for now. later.

Foundation multi-player map
Successfully complete single player mode on any difficulty setting to unlock the Foundation multi-player map. Note: There is a glitch that prevents some people from unlocking the map as it was originally intended. The way it has been done successfully is as follows: Successfully complete single player mode on any difficulty setting. Create a new profile. Begin a co-op game on the last level with the newly-created profile with the second player. When you reach a section where you fly a Banshee, the new profile must perform a barrel roll and a loop-the-loop. Finish the campaign and the new profile can access the Foundation map when hosting split-screen, System Link, or Xbox Live games. Alternately, if you have Xbox Live, go to the Microsoft Content download menu. Then, download all recently updated content. Go to a game menu. Go to change the options, then change the map. It should be at the very bottom.

Blind Mode
At the beginning of Outskirts jump on top of the light on top of the door with a crouch jump, then jump to the left platform. Turn to your left and go down the long dark corridor and pick up the skull; it will say blind and your screen will flash black for a while. In this mode you can not see your weapon, body, shields, ammo, or radar. To get rid of this feature use the following method: 1. Turn off your XBOX or Save and Quit. 2. Go to Campaign and select level and choose Cairo Station. 3. Skip the cinematics and then Save and Quit. 4. Go Outskirt and your hud is back.
Assassins Mode
A skull similar to the one that activates blind mode can be found if you Start on "regret". After the first lift ride (before the first underwater elevator), grenade jump from the front awning of the lift to the ledge in front of you (the one with two turrets).
Grenade jump AGAIN onto the next ledge.

Make your way to the back of the building. On Easy, you'll only find the skull. On Legendary, however, 2 invisible Elites carrying swords just shake their heads wildly, ignoring you completely.
